Mailing Inkjet & Tabbing Operator

• Full time employment – 40 hours per week.
• Seeking operators with hands on experience with Kirk Rudy mailing and tabbing equipment.

We are seeking a motivated inkjet mailing operator to join our supportive team, which values innovation and teamwork,. The position includes configuring and running Kirk Rudy mailing and tabbing equipment. Our front-end mail services department prepares the mailing list, allowing experienced candidates to inkjet onto printed materials. The majority of inkjetting occurs on the exterior covers of magazines and catalogs that are either saddle-stitched or perfect bound. We operate multiple mailing lines, primarily utilizing Kirk Rudy equipment and comparable machinery.

Inkjet Operator Responsibilities Include:

• Set up mail line for each job.
• Understand USPS regulations and procedures for common classes of mail.
• Understand mailing software and Kirk Rudy computer software as required to run the equipment itself.
• Troubleshoot and make adjustments during the run.
• Process mail according to supplied files / presorted lists from our front end mail services department.
• Attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively.
• Physical requirements: Long-term standing with medium to heavy lifting, 50 pounds.
• Must be motivated, reliable, and quality minded.
• knowledge of printers “bindery” not needed, but would be extremely useful.
