Pre-Press Tour
- ( PHASE 1 )
Digital files are supplied to our Pre-Press Department via FTP or supplied CD in Mac and PC format. Files are scanned for viruses and then copied to our file server before any work is performed. After original files are placed on the file server, the supplied original files are not used again or modified by Interprint.
- ( PHASE 2 )
Files are then organized and a duplicate file is made. The duplicate file has the same name as the original, but is given a MOD suffix at the end. All work performed by Interprint is done to the MOD file only.

- ( PHASE 3)
Files are registered into the Rampage Rip. Files are then ripped and brought into an imposition program and imposed for press. Each imposed file is imaged to an imposition inkjet proof and Epson contract proof which is shown to the customer before the printing process occurs. If there are changes or corrections needed, they are made at the proof stage. Changed files are re-ripped to final proofs and reviewed by the customer for approval and sign-off before production can begin.

- (PHASE 4 )
Ripped data is then output directly to plates using the Agfa Avalon N8 computer-to-plate system. The Avalon computer-to-plate system offers advanced Thermal Laser Imaging technology for the highest printing quality.
- ( PHASE 5 )
Once a project is completed, files are archived to DLT tape for short term storage.
